Real World Science Education and Experience


STudents as Research Scientists:  Based on a National Science Foundation funded Science Enrichment Program, STaRS offers students access to a fully equipped Biomedical Research Lab where they conduct independent laboratory research under the guidance of mentors.  STaRS is different from all other science enrichment programs.  Science projects are submitted by academic and industry scientists and must be applied science with a defined outcome goal.  Students have complete autonomy over their project but have Guided Learning i.e. hands-on as related to their project.
